Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, the sole Deemed Medical College in Delhi, allocates 150 seats. Among these, 75 seats cater to the All India Quota for Muslim Students, 52 for General Category candidates, and 23 are earmarked for NRI students.
Bond
Firstly, A service bond is something which a student has to sign while taking admission in any Government Medical college. It states that the students are obliged to serve in any state run hospital or in a rural area for a certain time period after completing their UG course. If a student in any case fails to serve or follow the bond policy then they has to pay the penalty for which the amount is specified by the administration.
When it comes to Delhi there is no service bond. But in all the government colleges students are asked to sign a bond which states that if in any case a student fails to join the college or decides to leave the college midway then they have to pay a penalty of a certain amount.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students should Successfully complete 10+2 with Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English.
- Candidates should attain a minimum of 50% (40% for reserved categories) in the 10+2 examination.
- One should be eligible and should clear NEET UG examination.
- Aim for a minimum qualifying percentile in NEET UG 2024: 50% for general, 40% for SC/ST/OBC and 45% for PWD.
- Ensure the student is at least 17 years old by December 31, 2023.
