Eligibility Criteria For MBBS In Bihar
- The applicant should have completed 10+2 with Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English.
- Candidates should core at least 50% (40% for reserved categories) in 10+2.
- The aspiring student should qualify the NEET UG exam.

Guidelines for Natives/Domicile Holders
Applicants seeking admission under the 85% state quota for MBBS admissions in Bihar must meet the following criteria:
- One or both parents must be permanent residents of India.
- Candidates whose parent(s) are refugees in Bihar.
- One of the parents is not a permanent resident of Bihar but is employed by the Government of Bihar.
- Parents of students who are in a transferable job in Bihar and Jharkhand state.
- Candidate’s parents should be working in the Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) of the Government of India.
- Parents working with the United Nations and recruited in Bihar.
Age Limit
- Applicants must meet the age requirements set by the administration to be considered for admission to Bihar medical colleges.
- Minimum age of 17 as of December 31, 2023.
Eligibility Criteria For NRI/ NRI Sponsored Seats :
Eligibility for admission under the NRI Quota seats is limited to NRI candidates themselves or children of NRIs whose parents are residents of Bihar. Candidates applying under this category must meet all the eligibility requirements and criteria prescribed for admission under the General Category, unless specified otherwise during the admission process.
Please note:
- Students admitted under NRI/NRI Sponsored category seats are not eligible for the Govt. of Bihar Stipend and Internship Allowance.
- Self-Financed and NRI/NRI Sponsored seats are considered non-resident types. However, hostel facilities may be provided to students admitted under Self-Financed/NRI seats based on availability and suitability.

Payment Procedure:
- The candidate must pay the refundable security deposit through online mode only (e.g., by Credit card/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI) at the time of registration and submission of the application form.
- Additionally, the candidate must pay a processing charge in addition to the Counselling/Registration Fee and Security Deposit for payment through online mode.
