Symbiosis Medical College for Women (SMCW) is the medical college of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), in Lavale, Pune. It is the brainchild of founder Dr. S. B. Mujumdar, inspired by the story of Anandibai Joshi — India's first lady doctor — created to increase the number of female doctors. Its first MBBS batch (2020-21) has now graduated, and its teaching hospital, SUHRC, is on the same campus. Admission is 100% through NEET-UG + MCC Deemed counselling, for women candidates only; no state/domicile/caste quota.

SMCW offers 150 MBBS seats for women — 127 General (Deemed/Paid) + 23 NRI (an 85% / 15% split), all filled centrally by the MCC on NEET merit within the female pool. Institute code 200527. Only General and NRI categories exist — no other reservation.
