NEET Counselling Delhi 2026 – Complete Guide
Delhi NEET counselling runs across two separate portals — MCC (which covers AIQ seats, AIIMS, and DU state quota for MAMC/LHMC/UCMS) and GGSIPU/IPU (for VMMC, BSAMC, ESIC Basaidarapur and other IPU-affiliated colleges). FMSC is not a registration portal — it handles post-allotment steps only after MCC allots a DU college seat.
Why Delhi students must register on both MCC and IPU to maximise seat options. ClasstoCollege guides Delhi-NCR students through all three tracks.

How to Register — Authority-wise
A. MCC — Registration & Allotment (for AIQ + AIIMS + DU State Quota)
Important: MCC handles registration, choice filling, and seat allotment for THREE categories — AIQ seats across India, AIIMS Delhi, AND the 85% state quota seats in DU-affiliated colleges (MAMC, LHMC, UCMS). All three are filled through a single MCC registration.
- Visit mcc.nic.in
- Register with NEET 2026 roll number and details
- Pay fee — ₹11,000 (General) / ₹5,000 (SC/ST/PwD) [includes registration + security deposit]
- Fill and lock college choices — include both AIQ options across India AND Delhi state quota seats (MAMC, LHMC, UCMS) in a single choice list
- Check seat allotment result on MCC website
- If allotted a DU college (MAMC / LHMC / UCMS): proceed to FMSC website for post-allotment steps (see A1 below)
- If allotted an AIQ or AIIMS seat: report directly to the allotted college
A1. Post-Allotment for DU Colleges — FMSC Website
Only for candidates who received allotment in MAMC, LHMC, or UCMS through MCC:
- Visit fmsc.ac.in
- Upload required documents including Class 11–12 Delhi school certificate
- Pay security deposit (₹10,000)
- Complete document verification and report to the allotted college
B. GGSIPU — Registration & Allotment (for IPU colleges — 85% State Quota)
IPU counselling is completely separate from MCC. Register here for VMMC, BSAMC, NDMCMC, ESIC Basaidarapur, ABVIMS, and ACMS.
- Visit ipu.ac.in
- Register and pay ₹2,500 registration fee
- Upload proof that Class 11–12 was completed in a recognised Delhi school
- Fill and lock college choices
- Check seat allotment; report to allotted college with documents + ₹50,000 security deposit
What Happens at Each Stage
Round 1: First round of registration, choice filling, and seat allotment. All new candidates must register. Candidates who receive a seat and are satisfied must report to the college. Free exit is available at this stage.
Round 2: For candidates who did not get a seat in Round 1 or want a better college. Candidates already registered do not need to re-register. Accepting a seat in Round 2 means you cannot participate in further rounds.
Mop-Up Round: Conducted if seats remain unfilled after Round 2. Fresh registrations are allowed. Options are more limited at this stage — it is critical to secure a seat in Round 1 or 2.
Stray Vacancy Round: Final round conducted at individual college level for remaining seats. Colleges handle this directly based on state merit lists.
