The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has extended the last date for submission of “willingness” to participate in Round 2 of Punjab NEET UG 2025 counselling. Candidates can now submit their willingness, along with the required security deposit, until September 12, 2025, 5:00 PM.
This move comes as a relief for students who missed the earlier deadline or needed more time to decide on participating in the next round. The extension also coincides with an increase in seats across medical colleges in Punjab. For instance, GGS Medical College, Faridkot has increased its intake from 150 to 200 seats, ESIC Medical College, Ludhiana has added 17 state quota seats, and DMC Ludhiana has raised its seats from 100 to 150. These changes significantly improve the chances of securing an MBBS or BDS seat for many aspirants.
