Round 2 is your second chance to register, upgrade or secure a better college. Below is everything you need, taken from the official Round 2 Schedule, Rules and Seat Matrix PDFs.

Who can participate in Round 2
As per the Rules PDF, Round 2 is open to new candidates, candidates who registered earlier but were not allotted, those who did not report on a Round 1 seat, and those seeking upgradation. You must complete re-registration (where applicable), fill choices and lock them within the window. Choices not locked by you are treated as locked by the system at the close of the window. The following seat availability comes directly from the official Round 2 Seat Matrix. NRI quota seats are on hold and will be processed only as per further instructions from the Government of Uttarakhand. Seat numbers can increase or decrease subject to orders from the Government of India or the State Government.

Important Rules you should not miss
- Seat surrender from Round 1 is allowed only till 16 September 2025, 5:00 PM. After this, withdrawal is not permitted under Round 2 timelines.
- Choice filling and locking are mandatory within the Round 2 window. If you don’t lock, the system treats your last saved choices as locked at the deadline.
- Document verification happens at the allotted college during admission. Keep originals ready as instructed in the Rules PDF.
- Reservation follows the State Government’s 100-point roster as per order dated 22 May 2020.
- NRI quota seats are on hold and will be processed only on further government directions.
- Seat numbers may change based on approvals or orders from competent authorities.

- Fill your choices in order of preference and lock them before the deadline.
- Check allotment on the result date and join the allotted college by the last date with required documents.
Quick FAQs
Can I newly register in Round 2 if I skipped Round 1?
Yes. Round 2 permits fresh registration for eligible NEET-UG 2025 candidates within the notified window.
I have a Round 1 seat but want a better college. Can I upgrade in Round 2?
Yes. Upgradation is allowed as per the Rules. Make sure your choices are updated and locked.
What if I forget to lock my choices?
Your last saved choices will be treated as locked once the window closes. Do not rely on that. Lock on time.
Will my security deposit be forfeited if I surrender my Round 1 seat within the deadline?
No. The Schedule and Rules specify surrender without forfeiture up to 16 September 2025, 5:00 PM. After that, forfeiture rules apply as per the document.
