  1. Eligibility for Second Round
    • Candidates who chose Choice-3 in the first round and were not allotted any seat must pay a caution deposit of ₹1,00,000/- (One Lakh) to become eligible for the second round.
    • Without this payment, candidates will not be allowed to participate in the next round of counselling.
  2. Exemption from Caution Deposit
    • A caution deposit is not required for courses like Dental, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Engineering, Agriculture, Veterinary, Nursing, and other UGCET courses.
  3. Candidates with a Seat Allotted in the First Round
    • Students who were allotted a seat in the first round of UGNEET (Medical/Dental/AYUSH) under Choice-2 and have already paid the fees do not need to pay the caution deposit again.
  4. Adjustment of Fees
    • If a candidate is allotted a medical seat in the second round, the caution deposit amount will be adjusted towards their tution fee.
  5. Forfeiture of Deposit
    • If a candidate is allotted a seat but fails to pay the balance fees or does not report to the college, the caution deposit will be forfeited.
    • Additionally, the candidate must pay the complete first-year tution fee to KEA as per the rules.
  6. Other Course Fees Not Considered
    • Any fee paid at KEA for other courses will not be treated as a caution deposit.
  7. Payment Schedule
    • KEA will notify the schedule for paying the caution deposit separately. Candidates are advised to regularly check the KEA website for updates.

Second Round Option Entry

  • Only those candidates who have paid the caution deposit will be allowed to re-order their options in the second round.
  • If a candidate fails to pay the caution deposit, they will not be eligible to participate in the second round of UG medical seat allotment.
  • Even candidates who were allotted seats in the first round must carefully re-enter their options for the second round.
