The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has issued Notification No. 106-BOPEE of 2025 dated 23rd August 2025, inviting applications for MBBS/BDS seats under the Central Pool for the spouses and children of civilian victims of terrorism for the academic year 2025-26.
Who Can Apply?
- Children of permanent residents of J&K/UT employees or Central/Other State Govt. employees posted in the UT.
- Children of Govt employees are treated at par with residents.
- Candidates must qualify as per NMC rules with minimum marks in PCB + English:
- UR/EWS: 50%
- Reserved Categories: 40%
- PwD: 45% (UR/EWS) / 40% (reserved).
- UR/EWS: 50%
Selection Process
- Based on the NEET-UG 2025 rank conducted by NTA.
- Cut-off percentile: UR/EWS – 50th, Reserved – 40th, PwD – 45th.
Priority Categories
- Priority I: Children whose both parents were killed by terrorists.
- Priority II: Children whose the sole bread earner was killed.
- Priority III: Wards of victims with permanent disability/injury.
(Only one ward per family can benefit under Priority I/II.)
Documents Required
- Domicile Certificate of J&K.
- NEET-UG 2025 Score Card.
- 10+2 Marks Card, DOB, and Category Certificate.
- Priority-wise documents authenticated by the Home Department.
Important Date
- Last date of application: 27th August 2025 (till 3:00 PM).
- Applications must be submitted physically at the BOPEE offices in Jammu or Srinagar.
