The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has officially released the Provisional Selection List for Round 1 MBBS/BDS admissions 2025. This allotment is based on the online counselling conducted from 6th August to 12th August 2025. Candidates who have been provisionally allotted seats in Government Medical and Dental Colleges of the UT of J&K and Ladakh are required to complete admission formalities within the given schedule.

Important Dates for Round 1 Admission

  • Last date for reporting to allotted colleges: 22nd August 2025, up to 4:00 PM
  • The scrutiny and admission process must be completed within this deadline.
  • Vacant seats due to non-reporting will be considered in the next round of counselling.

Documents Required for Admission

Candidates must carry the original documents for verification while reporting to the allotted college:

  1. Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation)
  2. 10+2 Marks Card
  3. Domicile Certificate
  4. Valid Category Certificate (if applicable, issued before 30th July 2025)
  5. Valid Poor & Backwards Category Certificate (if applicable)
  6. NEET UG 2025 Score Card
  7. Compulsory Service Bond (for candidates from the UT of Ladakh)
  8. Any other documents as required by the institution

Key Guidelines for Candidates

  • If a candidate fails to join the allotted college by 22nd August 2025, their seat will be cancelled and allotted in the next round.
  • Candidates wishing to resign after admission must submit a resignation letter before the last date of admission. Resigned candidates can still participate in further counselling rounds.
  • Colleges will keep their admission counters open even on holidays/off-days to help candidates complete formalities.
  • All admissions are provisional and subject to document verification. If any certificate or detail is found to be false, the admission will be cancelled immediately.

Reserved Category & PwD Seat Details

  • The seat allotment under Reserved Categories and Horizontal Reservation follows the latest Reservation Acts, Rules, and S.O. orders issued by the Government of J&K.
  • PwD Quota: Two seats (01 Male and 01 Female) have been reserved under the PwD category in MBBS courses as per the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and J&K High Court.
  • EWS Category: One seat has been reserved for EWS (Female) candidates.

Responsibilities of Colleges

  • Principals of colleges must download the PSL Notification from the JKBOPEE official website www.jkbopee.gov.in.
  • Nodal officers must verify all documents and category certificates before allowing students to join.
  • Any shortfall of candidates must be reported to JKBOPEE by 22nd August 2025, 5:00 PM via email with a duly signed copy from the Head of Institution.

What’s Next?

Candidates who complete admission in Round 1 will be locked with their allotted college. If they resign before the cut-off date, they can participate in Round 2 of counselling with fresh preferences.
