How to Register on the New MCC Portal
The MCC has launched a fresh registration portal for NEET UG Counselling 2026. Candidates can complete the registration process by following these steps :

Click on UG Medical Counselling and select New Registration
Enter your email ID and mobile number for OTP verification
Your name, NEET application number, and date of birth will be automatically fetched from the NTA database
Create a high-security password for future logins

Pay the counselling registration fee and security deposit online

This year, MCC has introduced several student-friendly reforms to make the counselling process more transparent and convenient :
Freeze and Float System
Candidates now have two options after seat allotment:
Freeze: Candidates satisfied with their allotted seat must physically report to the allotted institute and complete admission formalities.
Float: Candidates seeking upgradation in subsequent rounds can opt for online document verification and need not visit the allotted college immediately .
No Physical Reporting for Upgradation
Candidates who opt for the “Willing to Upgrade” option are no longer required to physically report to the allotted college. Their existing seat remains secured while they participate in subsequent rounds .
Online Document Upload
All candidates, whether they choose to freeze or float their seats, must upload scanned copies of required documents through the MCC portal . NRI candidates can also upload supporting documents online.
Online Seat Resignation Facility
Candidates who wish to surrender their allotted seat can now submit their resignation online through the MCC portal .
