The National Medical Commission (NMC) has rescheduled the NEET PG 2024 exam to June 23. This decision was made jointly with the Medical Counselling Committee, the Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB), the DGHS, and the National Board of Examinations for Medical Sciences (NBEMS).
The most recent NMC notification confirms that the internship deadline remains unchanged. The NEET PG exam, initially set for March 3, has been rescheduled to July 7 following several requests from applicants. As per the updated schedule, NBEMS will declare the NEET PG 2024 result by July 15.
Additionally, according to the NMC, NEET PG counselling will commence on August 5 and continue until August 10.
Clearing the NEET PG entrance exam is a prerequisite for enrollment in the nation’s MD, MS, or postgraduate diploma programs. The NEET PG 2024 test paper will be worth 800 marks, based on past years’ trends. The test will consist of a total of 200 multiple-choice questions.
In NEET PG 2024, applicants gain 4 marks for correct answers and lose 1 mark for incorrect responses.
