NEET Form Correction Window

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an official notice regarding the correction facility for the NEET (UG) 2026 online application form. As the exam is scheduled for May 03, 2026, this is the final opportunity for aspirants to rectify errors in their particulars.

NEET UG 2026 Correction Timeline

Candidates must act within the specified timeframe, as no corrections will be permitted after the deadline.

Annexure-I: Permitted Fields for Correction

The NTA has outlined specific fields that can be modified. It is a one-time facility, meaning once the form is submitted, it will be frozen.

• Parental Details: Candidates can change either Father’s Name (including qualification/occupation) OR Mother’s Name (including qualification/occupation).
• Educational Qualifications: Corrections or additions are allowed for Class X and Class XII details, including the State/UT of passing.
• Category & Identity: Modifications are permitted for Category, Sub-category (PwD), and identity details (for those who did not register via Aadhaar).
• Exam Preferences: Candidates can change their Examination City Selection and Medium of Examination based on their current/permanent addresses.
• Other Fields: Updates to Signature and the Number of attempts in NEET (UG) are also allowed.

Important Guidelines for Candidates

• Additional Fees: If a change in category or other particulars affects the fee amount, candidates must pay the difference before corrections are finalised.
• Non-Refundable: Any excess payments made during the process will not be refunded.
• One-Time Chance: This is a one-time window provided to avoid hardships; candidates are urged to be extremely careful.
