Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada, has announced the official notification for MBBS and BDS admissions under Category “C” / NRI Quota for the academic year 2025-26. This notification applies to:

  • New Government Medical Colleges permitted from 2023-24 onwards
  • Private unaided Non-Minority and Minority Medical & Dental Colleges affiliated to Dr. NTRUHS
  • Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women (SVIMS), Tirupati

Note: Students applying under the NRI quota must carefully follow the university’s instructions, adhere to the schedule, and upload valid documents within the specified timeline.

Important Dates for NRI Quota Applications

Candidates who have already registered under Management Quota B1/B2 but not under Category C (NRI) are now eligible to apply. The submission schedule is as follows:

  • Opening of Online Submission: 3rd September 2025, 10:00 AM
  • Closing of Online Submission: 8th September 2025, 3:00 PM
  • Late Fee: Rs. 5,900 (inclusive of 18% GST)

Essential Instructions for NRI Quota Applicants

To ensure smooth admission under Category C (NRI Quota), candidates must keep the following in mind:

1. Mandatory Document Submission

Submitting all valid NRI documents is compulsory. Without the required proofs, the application will not be considered.

2. No Re-Submission After Deadline

Candidates are advised to scan and upload documents carefully. Requests to re-upload documents will not be entertained after the closing date.

3. Strict Action Against Duplicate or Fake Sponsorship

NTRUHS has observed cases where the same NRI sponsor documents were uploaded for multiple candidates. This is strictly prohibited.

  • If found, admissions will be cancelled at any stage (even after confirmation).
  • Legal action, including criminal proceedings, will be taken against the candidate, parent, or guardian.

4. Candidate’s Responsibility

The responsibility for any false or invalid claim under the NRI quota lies with the candidate and their guardian.
