NEET (UG) 2025 Examination to be held in Pen and Paper Mode
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has announced a significant change in the mode of conducting the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG) for 2025. The examination will now be held in Pen and Paper mode (OMR based) in a single day and single shift.
The NEET (UG) examination is a crucial assessment for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions. As per the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, and the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020, NEET (UG) is mandatory for admission to various undergraduate courses including MBBS, BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, and BHMS. Additionally, aspirants for the Military Nursing Service (MNS) seeking admission to B.Sc. Nursing Courses must also qualify NEET (UG).
