NEET UG 2025 Eligibility – Age Criteria

Lower Age Limit: Candidates must have completed 17 years of age by December 31, 2025. Upper Age Limit: No upper age limit as per National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines.

NEET UG 2025 Eligibility Criteria – Nationality

Indian Citizens, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), and Foreign Nationals can apply. Students wishing to study abroad must also qualify for NEET (UG).

Candidates from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh are eligible for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and can participate on par with other states’ candidates.

Qualifications and Qualifying Examination Codes

Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English in their qualifying exams.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

General (UR)/General-EWS: 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. SC/ST/OBC-NCL: 40% in these subjects.
