The Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh has released an official notice dated 28th August 2025, informing NEET UG 2025 aspirants about the addition of MBBS seats in the second and subsequent rounds of MP State counselling.

New Medical Colleges Approved

• The National Medical Commission (NMC) has granted permission for 100 seats intake in each of the two newly established government medical colleges:
  
  • Government Medical College, Sheopur
    
  • Government Medical College, Singrauli
    
• Out of these, 85 MBBS seats in each college will be included under the State Quota for counselling.
  

Court Order on Index Medical College

• As per the order passed by the Delhi High Court on 22nd August 2025 in WP(C) 10890/2025, Index Medical College, Indore has been permitted to participate in NEET UG counselling with sanctioned intake capacity for the academic session 2025-26.
  
• Therefore, 250 MBBS seats of Index Medical College will also be included in the upcoming round of counselling.
  

Total Additional Seats

• Government Medical College, Sheopur → 85 seats
  
• Government Medical College, Singrauli → 85 seats
  
• Index Medical College, Indore → 250 seats
  

➡️ Total = 420 new MBBS seats added for MP NEET UG 2025 counselling.
