The Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (J&K BOPEE) has issued Notification No. 111-BOPEE of 2025 dated 28th August 2025, regarding admission to MBBS courses in ASCOMS under Hindu Minority (HM) Quota and Non-Resident Indian (NRI) Quota.
This notification follows earlier instructions issued under Notification No. 097-BOPEE of 2025 dated 14-08-2025.
Verification of Documents
- The documents of candidates applying under Hindu Minority/NRI quotas were scrutinized by the committee on 25th August 2025.
- It was found that all candidates under the Hindu Minority quota were eligible, except one candidate with a mismatch in the certificate.
- For NRI quota applicants, out of 34 candidates, 29 were found eligible, while 5 candidates had deficiencies in their documents.
Candidates with deficiencies are advised to clear them on or before 30th August 2025 up to 1:00 PM.
Counseling Process
The counseling for both Hindu Minority quota and NRI quota seats will be held during the Second Round of Counseling, as notified by BOPEE.

Priority System for NRI Quota
As per MCC guidelines, the allotment of NRI quota seats will be based on the following priority:
