Step 2: Register Online

Manipur NEET UG 2026 Counselling: Freeze and Float Options

After the Round 1 seat allotment results are published, candidates must choose one of the following options to proceed further. Further change after confirmation shall not be allowed in any case .

Freeze Option (No Upgradation)

  • Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seat choose the “Freeze” option

  • Must physically report to the allotted institute with original documents

  • Required to complete admission formalities within the reporting window

Float Option (Willing for Upgradation)

  • Candidates who want to upgrade their seat in further rounds choose the “Float” option

  • Do not need to physically report immediately at the allotted college

  • Can give willingness for upgradation online

For Freeze Candidates

  • Must physically visit the allotted institute to submit resignation within the stipulated time period

  • Once a seat is surrendered/resigned, the candidate will have NO claim on that particular seat 

For Float Candidates

  • May submit an online seat surrender request in the prescribed template on the counselling portal within the stipulated time period

  • Once a seat is surrendered/resigned, the candidate will have NO claim on that particular seat

Candidates must prepare the following documents for registration and verification :

  • NEET UG 2026 Admit Card and Scorecard

  • Class 10 Mark Sheet and Certificate (Proof of Date of Birth)

  • Transfer Certificate and Character Certificate

Registration for Further Rounds

Registration in the web-based application will be allowed before every Round of Counselling. Candidates who have registered for any round need not register again for further rounds .

Fresh Choice Filling Every Round

“Choice Filling” in the web-based application will be mandatory for every round of counselling. “Choice of seat” filled in any round will not be valid for further rounds .

Communication Channels

Further communication regarding the Counselling process will be done only through:

  1. SMS to the registered mobile number

  2. Notifications on manipurmc.mn.gov.in

  3. Notifications on manipurhealthdirectorate.mn.gov.in
