CMC Vellore MBBS Admissions – Seat Distribution
CMC Vellore follows a 50-50 rule for seat allocation:
- 50% Management Quota: Includes Open, Minority Network, and CMC Vellore Staff Quota seats.
- 50% Government Quota: Divided into 30% for general candidates and 20% for Christian minority candidates from Tamil Nadu.
If you’re applying under the Minority Network category, ensure you get a recommendation from a Christian organization affiliated with CMC Vellore. Check Annexure 1 in the bulletin for the list of eligible organizations.
Eligibility Criteria
- You must be at least 17 years old by 31st December 2025.
- You need to score at least the 50th percentile in NEET UG 2025.
- Academically, you must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English in your 12th standard with at least 50% aggregate (40% for reserved categories).
If you’ve studied abroad, you’ll need an Eligibility Certificate from the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University. Don’t forget to check their website for details.
CMC VEllore MBBS Admissions – Application Process
- The application fee is Rs. 1200 + Rs. 500 registration fee. For additional courses like Nursing or Allied Health Sciences, it’s an extra Rs. 500 per course.
- You can pay online via credit/debit card or net banking, or through an ICICI Bank challan.
- Ensure you have a passport-sized photo and scanned signature ready. Follow the specifications mentioned in the bulletin.
