West Bengal NEET UG Counselling
The Directorate of Medical Education, West Bengal, has officially released the detailed MBBS counselling schedule for NEET UG 2025. This year, counselling will be conducted for Government and Private Medical Colleges in West Bengal under the State Quota, Private Management Quota, and NRI Quota. Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Counselling
For State Quota Seats:
- Must be a domicile of West Bengal (Proforma a1, a2, or b).
- Must have passed Class 10 & 12 with required marks.
- Must qualify NEET UG 2025 with at least 50 percentile (UR/EWS), 45 percentile (SC/ST/OBC), 40 percentile (PwD UR).
- Valid documents required: NEET admit card, rank card, marksheet, domicile certificate, medical fitness certificate, etc.
For Management Quota:
- Open to all NEET UG 2025 qualified candidates (No domicile required).
- Admission based solely on NEET All India Rank.
- No caste or PwD reservation applicable.
For NRI Quota:
- Must fulfill NRI eligibility as per Supreme Court directives.
- Must qualify NEET UG 2025 with at least 50 percentile (UR/EWS), 45 percentile (SC/ST/OBC), 40 percentile (PwD UR).
- Required to submit NRI Sponsorship and Verified Documents.
- Admission will be provisional until verified by MCC, New Delhi.

Step-by-Step Counselling Process
- Online Registration & Fee Payment
- ₹2000 for UR, ₹1500 for reserved categories.
- Mandatory for all candidates before verification.

Who cannot participate?
- Candidates not qualifying for NEET 2025.
- Candidates who failed to verify documents.
- Those who surrendered seats after Round 1 or 2.
- Non-reported candidates after Round 3.
Important Notes
- No upgradation in Round 3 or Stray Vacancy Round.
- Seat surrender is not allowed after Round 3.
- Donor/Trust/Central Pool seats are outside WBMCC counselling.
- Visit the WBMCC website regularly – No personal communication will be sent.
