New MBBS Seats Added in Round 2
A major update for Round 2 is the *inclusion of ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Noida, which has received permission from NMC for *50 MBBS seats for the academic year 2025-26.
- These seats are added to the UP state quota seat matrix following reservation rules.
- Candidates should check the fee structure before filling choices, available at:

Important Guidelines for Round 2 Counselling
- Seat Allotment will be done based on the Round 2 merit list.
- Security Money: Candidates already registered in Round 1 don’t need to deposit again. New candidates must pay.
- Free Exit available for those who did not join or resigned after Round 1.
- Choice Filling:
- Only eligible candidates with completed registration, fee, and document verification can fill choices.
- Vacant, resigned, not reported, and Seat Against Cancellation (SAC) seats will be displayed.
- Choice locking is mandatory; unlocked choices will not be considered.
- Upgradation Rules: If upgraded, earlier seats get automatically released. If no upgrade, the previous seat remains.
- Admission is compulsory for Round 2 allotted seats, otherwise, the entire security deposit will be forfeited.
- Reporting Process:
- Govt. colleges: report at allotted college.
- Private colleges: report at designated nodal centers with CTS bank draft of tuition fee in favor of DGME, Lucknow.
- Medical Examination is mandatory at the allotted college/nodal center medical board.
- Counselling will be held as per the UP NEET UG 2025 brochure & govt. orders.
