UP NEET PG 2025 New PG Seats for Round 02 Updated
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has released an updated PG Seat Matrix dated 27 November 2025 for private medical colleges across India for the academic year 2025–26.
From this official notice, Uttar Pradesh has received a major increase in PG seats across many specialities.
These new seats will be included directly in NEET PG 2025 Round 02 counselling.
What Are New PG Seats in Round 2
Every medical college already has some existing seats.
For Round 02, the state has added extra seats in several colleges.
Total Seats = 1058
Existing Seats = 445 New Seats = 613
This means students now have more chances, more colleges, and more branches to choose from during Round 02 counselling.

These colleges got the highest number of new seats:
- K.D. Medical College Mathura → +63 seats
- G.S. Medical College Hapur → +53 seats
- Rajshree Medical Research Institute Bareilly → +46 seats
- SKS Hospital Medical College → +44 seats
- Naraina Medical College → +41 seats
Such changes allow students to have more chances, especially in branches that are in high demand. Adding 613 new PG seats in Uttar Pradesh for the Round 02 of NEET PG 2025 counselling is very good news for medical aspirants. Students now have a much better opportunity to get a PG seat in their desired college and branch of study, with the total number of seats going up to 1058. This news is a great relief for Round 02 candidates who now have more options and better chances to attend counselling.
