NEET UG 2025 Round 4 (Stray Round) Extended till 11:55 PM on 11 November 2025
The counselling authority has extended the choice filling for the Stray Round of UG Counselling 2025 up to 11:55 PM on 11.11.2025 to enable the candidates to take a last look at their options, add or reorder colleges and courses, and thereby assure themselves that their final choices genuinely match their rank, category, and budget before the close of the counselling.
According to the recent update, the choice locking will commence at 04:00 PM on 11.11.2025 and will be available up to 11:55 PM on the same day. Applicants should note that no choice shall be treated as a final choice unless it is locked within this period. In case a candidate does not lock choices, it is either not considered for allotment by the system or the last saved choices are treated as the final choice, whichever is decided by the counselling authority.
It is very strongly advised that students should not wait until the last minute for filling or locking choices. Server load, internet issues, or last-minute confusion may lead to mistakes that could cost a seat. Instead, candidates should first prepare a rough list of preferred colleges and courses on paper or in an Excel sheet, discuss it with parents or mentors, and then enter and lock choices calmly within the given schedule.
Usually, the Stray Round is the last opportunity for the applicants to get a seat under this counselling process. Hence, every candidate who is still in the race should consider this extension as a serious chance to improve their chances of admission.
