Kerala KEAM 2026 Reopens Medical Applications: Fresh Registration & Course Addition Open Until 27 July

Kerala Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) has reopened the KEAM 2026 application facility for candidates seeking admission to Medical and Medical Allied courses. This is an important opportunity for students who either missed the earlier KEAM application window or want to add Medical courses to their existing KEAM application.

The online facility is available from 23 July 2026 and will remain open until 27 July 2026 at 11:00 AM. After this deadline, candidates will not be able to submit fresh applications, add Medical courses, or upload reservation documents.

If you are planning to participate in Kerala MBBS admission through NEET UG 2026, it is important to understand which option applies to you and complete the process before the deadline.

Kerala KEAM 2026 Application Window

The application and course addition facility is available during the following period:

  • Opening Date: 23 July 2026
  • Last Date: 27 July 2026
  • Closing Time: 11:00 AM

Candidates should not wait until the last day, as heavy traffic on the portal may cause delays.

Who Can Apply?

The reopened application window is meant for two different groups of candidates.

Candidates Who Did Not Apply for KEAM 2026 Earlier

Students who did not submit a KEAM 2026 application during the earlier registration period can now submit a fresh online application for Medical and Medical Allied courses.

To apply:

  • Visit the official CEE Kerala website.
  • Select KEAM 2026 – Online Application.
  • Complete the registration and application process.
  • Download and keep the Application Acknowledgement Page for future reference.

Candidates are not required to send a printed copy of the acknowledgement or other documents to the CEE office.

Already Applied for KEAM 2026? Do Not Register Again

Candidates who have already submitted a KEAM 2026 application for Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, or other courses should not submit a fresh application.

Instead, they should:

  • Log in through the KEAM 2026 Candidate Portal.
  • Select Add Course.
  • Add Medical and Medical Allied Courses.

Submitting multiple applications may result in the cancellation of the candidature as per the KEAM 2026 prospectus.

NEET UG 2026 Qualification is Mandatory

Admission to MBBS and other NEET-based Medical and Medical Allied courses will be considered only for candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Without a valid NEET UG 2026 qualification, candidates will not be considered for admission to these courses.

NRI, Minority, EWS and Category Claims Can Be Added

The reopened portal also allows candidates to add or update reservation claims.

Eligible candidates can now apply under:

  • NRI Quota
  • Minority Quota
  • EWS Reservation
  • Community Reservation
  • Other applicable reservation categories

The Candidate Portal includes options such as:

  • Upload NRI Document

Upload Supporting Documents Before the Deadline

One of the most important points in the notification is the submission of supporting documents.

Candidates claiming any reservation or fee concession must upload the required certificates while this facility is available.

Depending on the reservation category, documents may include:

  • Community Certificate
  • Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (State Education Purpose)
  • EWS Certificate (State Education Purpose)
  • Income Certificate
  • NRI Documents

CEE has clearly stated that there will be no opportunity to upload these documents after the deadline under any circumstances.

Therefore, candidates should ensure that all required certificates are uploaded correctly before the application window closes.

Application Fee

The application fee or additional application fee can only be paid through the online payment facility provided on the official KEAM portal.

The amount payable depends on the type of application and the courses selected.

Newly Added Courses Included

Apart from MBBS and Medical Allied courses, the notification also includes newly introduced programmes under Kerala Agricultural University (KAU), such as:

  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture
