KEA Extends UG NEET 2025: In a significant update for NEET UG 2025 qualified students, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially extended the registration deadline for undergraduate Medical, Dental, and AYUSH courses (including Ayurveda, Unani, and Homeopathy) in Karnataka.
This final extension allows eligible candidates who have not yet registered to complete the process and secure their eligibility for state counselling.

Extended Registration Deadline
The new deadline for registration and fee payment is 17 July 2025, before 11:00 AM.
How to Register
Candidates must visit the official KEA portal and click on the ‘UGNEET-2025 new registration’ link to fill out the application and pay the fees.
Who Can Register
- Students who have qualified NEET UG 2025 but have not registered on KEA till now.
- UGCET 2025 already registered candidates who have not yet entered their NEET Roll Number for MBBS, BDS, or AYUSH admissions can now log in and update the details.
Reservation Criteria
The reservation under SC/ST/OBC categories will be considered only for Karnataka-domicile candidates. Students from other states are not eligible for Karnataka state reservation benefits.
Why Registration is Crucial
As per the NMC and AYUSH Department guidelines, all rounds of counselling including the Stray Vacancy Round will be conducted only through KEA online counselling. As KEA extends UG NEET 2025 counselling, students who fail to register will not be considered for any seat under the KEA process.
No Further Extension Will Be Provided
KEA has clearly stated that there will be no additional extension of the date or time. Candidates missing this window will not be allowed to participate in Karnataka’s UG medical and AYUSH admission process.
