ESIC Quota MBBS Admission 2026: Eligibility, Seats, Fees & How to Apply


Introduction

The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation has released the official admission notice for wards of insured persons (IPs) for the academic session 2026–27. This scheme allows eligible candidates to get admission in MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing through a reserved quota.


What is ESIC IP Quota?

This is a special reservation for children of employees covered under the ESI scheme. These seats are available after All India Quota and State Quota.

  1. MBBS: 695 seats
  2. BDS: 28 seats

Eligibility Criteria

To apply:

  1. Must qualify NEET UG 2026
  2. Parent must be an ESI insured person
  3. Must have a valid Ward of IP Certificate
  4. Must meet NTA/NMC eligibility rules

How to Apply (Step-by-Step)

Step 1: Apply for IP Certificate

  1. Visit ESIC website
  2. Login via OTP
  3. Fill form & upload documents
  4. Download certificate after approval

Step 2: NEET Qualification

  1. Appear and qualify NEET UG

Step 3: Register for Counselling

  1. Register on DGHS portal (MCC)
  2. Choose ESIC colleges
  3. Participate in counselling

  2. IP Certificate
  3. 10th & 12th certificates
  4. ID proof
  5. Category certificate (if applicable)
