Security Deposit for 2nd Round Participation

All candidates (fresh and registered) must deposit the prescribed security fee while submitting their willingness for Round 2:

  • Government Colleges only: ₹10,000 (₹5,000 for SC/BC/PwD)
  • Private Colleges: ₹2,00,000
  • Both Government & Private Colleges: ₹2,00,000

Note: Candidates who already paid the full tuition/security in Round 1 will not be required to pay again. However, they must still submit their willingness to participate.

Eligibility for Round 2 Counselling

Eligible Groups:

  1. Registered candidates not allotted a seat in Round 1.
  2. Candidates whose Round 1 seats were cancelled during document verification.
  3. Candidates who joined Round 1 and opted for upgradation (YES).
  4. Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 but did not join.
  5. Candidates who resigned their Round 1 seat within the deadline.

Not Eligible:

  • Unregistered candidates (not in Round 1 or 2).
  • Candidates disqualified due to incomplete/ineligible documents.

Important Rules and Guidelines

  • Fresh choice filling is mandatory for Round 2. Choices from Round 1 will not be considered.
  • Once locked, choices cannot be modified.
  • If allotted a seat in Round 2 but not reported/joined, the security deposit will be forfeited.
  • Candidates who skip joining Round 2 can still participate in Round 3, but only after fresh registration and a new security deposit.
  • Refund of the security deposit is applicable only if no seat is allotted in Round 2.

  • Candidates must upload a photograph, signature, thumb impression, and required documents on time.
